INFRASTRUCTURE

CLASSROOMS

Fully air conditioned & Spacious classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids and all have network connectivity and equipped with the latest audio-visual aids to facilitate presentations which  makes learning at HCMI a truly stimulating experience.

The institute has fully equipped training labs consisting of

TRAINING RESTAURENT: Two restaurants for practical training in F&B service skills

MOCK BAR: There is fully equipped mock bar available for demonstrations and practical work, in the preparation and service of all kinds of beverages.

FRONT OFFICE TRAINING: All operational aspects of Front Office like Room Reservation, Registration, Guest Relations, Telephones, Cashiering, Guest Accounting, Revenue Management etc. are taught to the students. The college has installed software’s similar to used by the industry.

HOUSEKEEPING LAB: Skill enhancement of housekeeping department by using various kinds of equipment such as wringer trolley, maid cart, Vacuum cleaners & mocks.

COMPUTER LAB: A fully network computer lab is operational and available to the students with internet facility.

LANGUAGE LAB: Latest computerised language lab to enhance the communication skills of the students has been established 1st time by any Hotel Management college.

LIBRARY

The institute has a well stocked reference library. The internet facility is also available to the student.

SPORTS

To develop Team spirit, stamina, patience & confidence among the students Sports are encouraged. There are facilities of Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Tennis and Soccer in the campus.

FACILITIES

UNIFORM

Students are required to come in proper dress code, which will be informed at the time of final enrollment. Set of uniform are issued at the time of enrollment and from time to time.

TEXT BOOKS

Students will be given a set of textbooks as prescribed by the assessing institution. Also sometimes students are required to purchase certain books for their reference at their cost.

ACCOMMODATION / HOSTEL

The institute have separate boarding and lodging facilities for men and women. These facilities are available in Chandigarh & Derabassi. The allocation of seats is on the first come-first serve basis. Essential furniture such as a bed, mattress, study table, chair and cupboard is provided for each individual. Student can arrange accommodation their own level also.

TRANSPORTATION

Pick & drop bus facility is provided by the institute. It is compulsory to avail bus service if the students are commuting from Chandigarh, Mohali/Kharar and Zirakpur.

GROUP INSURANCE

All the students of HCMI are covered under group insurance scheme. By this we express our concern for the safety & welfare of our students. Even the earning parents of the student are insured to guarantee completion of the course in case of any family eventuality.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

On completion of your course you will automatically become a member of the Alumni of the HCMI, Even as you leave HCMI campus, you remain an important part of HCMI family.
